Yu-Han Huang, Ph.D.

 

Yu-Han completed her PhD degree in Molecular Pharmacology at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan. She was then awarded a scholarship under the Postdoctoral Research Abroad Program (US$40,625, 2017-2018, sponsored by the Taiwan government) to perform postdoctoral research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. During her PhD and postdoctoral years, she worked to uncover molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and study the effects of anti-cancer agents. Yu-Han joined the Yu lab in 2018. With us, she has been developing antisense oligonucleotide therapies for several neurogenetic disorders including frontotemporal dementia, Niemann-Pick disease type C, CDKL5 deficiency disorder, and Usher syndrome.
